Finnish design: Iitala New Collection

Finnish company Iitala, manufacturer of high quality tableware and household products, has released a new collection of tableware named «Tanssi» or «Dance».

Iitala Finland Dance

Finnish artist Klaus Haapaniemi has been inspired by the Finnish National Opera production of The Cunning Little Vixen, a Czech opera by Leos Janacek, and created the Tanssi pattern.

This beautiful story and fairy tale comes alive in Haapaniemis designs on tableware created by Finnish designer Heikki Orvola.

Tanssi introduces mythology into everyday tableware. It makes a good addition to any current Iittala collection. In addition to the ceramic pieces, the Tanssi collection includes also interior textiles for home interior.

The company products can be found at Iitala specialized stores or shopping malls in Finland: www.iittala.com/tanssi
